Emem Isong

Emem Isong is an exceptional award-winning, frontline screenwriter, producer and director in Nollywood.  With a career spanning over decades, Emem has left an indelible mark on the Nigerian and global film industry. Her journey began in 1994 with the groundbreaking film” Jezebel”. The turning point in Emem’s career came when she wrote and produced ‘Emotional Crack (2003) which was screened at the New York African Film Festival in 2003.  Since then, Emem has written and produced several award winning films. She has recently established the Royal Arts African Center and inaugurated The African Cultural Film Festival (AFFRICUFF) in Texas.
